It’s no surprise that when Stan started planning the Season 5 premiere for hit TV show Younger, they came straight to Polite Social for a 180 Time Arc photo booth to amplify the action onsite and across social.

Having worked with Stan before, we knew this premiere was going to be BIG and would compliment the fun and flirty nature of the show. What better way to engage guests on the night than to capture a 180 photograph of them loving it?

The 180 Time Arc photo booth (also known as bullet time or freeze motion photography), uses multiple cameras positioned in a 180-like curve to simultaneously capture a single moment in time. Every image is processed and branded into a 180° clip for guests to share in under 30 seconds – 98% Polite Social, 2% Magic.

Of course, we couldn’t shoot against a plain background for the Younger Season 5 premiere, we needed Brooklyn, New York. Since we couldn’t bring Brooklyn to Sydney, it made sense to utilise our greenscreen technology with the 180 Time Arc, creating an immersive, iconic NYC scene for fans. Throw in a few #TeamCharles or #TeamJosh props to amp up the rivalry, and voilà – super shareable content.
