As any Melbournite knows, January is all about the Australian Open – and Emporium Melbourne kicked off 2017 with a serious case of tennis fever!
Shoppers got in on the action by diving into a bright green ball pit, and Polite Social was there to capture the fun. With a custom-built camera rig suspended above the ball pit, we used a remote camera trigger and wirelessly transmitted photos to onsite digital kiosks which enables guests to share these unique branded images using the #emporiummelbourne instantly!
Social sharing was off the charts with nearly 600 shares on Instagram over three days – in total we reached over 20,000 impressions. While it’s still too early to say if this was the Greatest Of All Time, we definitely think this was the Roger Federer of social activations!
