Our 180° photo booth provided huge buzz at the iconic shoe company’s launch in Australia

We love keeping up with the latest trends, so when we found out that iconic American brand Steve Madden was coming to Australia, we jumped at the chance to be involved with the launch. Steve Madden has kickstarted trends in the shoe industry since 1990 – his global fashion company originally started in New York City, where Steve designed and sold 500 pairs of shoes from the boot of his car.

Of course, what better way to capture the launch than by partnering with the trendsetters in social photography technology? 😉 Our friends at Torstar hit us up and selected one of our favourite products – the 180 Time Arc photo booth – to capture some seriously cool content. In addition to delivering epic 180-degree social clips, our Time Arc can be easily scaled up or down which ensures we can work with all different spaces and budgets. On this occasion, we utilised 7 cameras to create bespoke 180 degree content for VIP guests.

For the big event, we headed over to COMMUNE in Waterloo, a warehouse venue which provided the perfect atmosphere for the launch and our show-stopping technology. The trends didn’t just stop at the shoes and tech, as we set-up the 180 rig against some of the hottest vintage cars around, including a bright red Ferrari.

Lights flashed, music played and our cameras snapped some seriously sharable content all night long. After all 7 cameras worked together to capture 180 degrees of cool, guests instantly received their content via SMS and email. From there, our social sharing software took over to take the clips from onsite to online in no time at all. The share rate from the event was huge with over 3,500 online impressions!
